Secondary School of Fine Arts
The Secondary School of Fine Arts of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts commits to preserve, share and transfer a high quality of arts knowledge and experience in Khmer traditional and modern art forms, in both performing arts and visual arts to the younger generation.
Secondary School of Fine Arts is divided into 5 specialized schools
1. School of Music
- Music : Ayay, Khmer folk songs and classical songs
- Contemporary musical instruments : Violin, viola, piano, cello, double bass, trumpet, flute, saxophone and clarinet
- Classical musical instruments : Chapei Dang Veng, Sra Lai, Tru Ou, Tru So, Khim, Kong Toch, Kong Thom, Take, Ranat Ek and Ranat Tang
2. School of Dance
- Specialties: Classical dance, traditional dance, and Khol drama
3. School of Theater
- Specialties: Bassac, Yike, and spoken word theater
4. School of Circus
- Specialties: Tap, floor jump, flexibility, balance, balance, aerial techniques, ballet…
5. School of Fine Arts
- Painting specialization: classical painting, decorative painting on fabric, advertising painting and fine art painting
- Sculpture specialization: printmaking, silver carving, blacksmithing, wood carving, enamel and ceramic carving.
