Her Excellency Doctor Academician Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, Inspects Restoration Sites in the Angkor Archaeological Zone to Direct Conservation and Sustainable Development Visions

On June 11, 2026, Her Excellency Doctor Academician Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, inspected various work sites within the Angkor Archaeological Park to outline the vision for sustainable development and conservation in the Angkor region.

During the visit, Her Excellency reviewed the actual conditions and provided recommendations for improving the tour circuits at Angkor Wat temple to offer a new experience for visitors. Furthermore, meticulous consideration was given to the preparation and hosting of the upcoming delegations for the 20th Francophonie Summit, which will take place in November 2026.
