On Wednesday, March 11, 2026, H.E. Hei Virak, Director of the Department of Promoting Cultural, Religious, and Historical Movements and Chairman of the Union of Youth Federations of Cambodia (UYFC) for the Culture and Fine Arts Sector, representing H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, brought a total donation of 10,000,000 Riels mobilized from generous donors in France and Australia, as well as from the leadership, civil servants of the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts, and the UYFC youth team, to deliver to Angkor Hospital for Children in Siem Reap.
On that occasion, His Excellency expressed his deep gratitude to the hospital management and the entire medical team for their physical and mental dedication to treating and saving the lives of children every year. At the same time, His Excellency also conveyed high-level greetings and well-wishes from H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, to all the medical staff. He reaffirmed that the Ministry will continue its efforts to appeal for and seek further funding to support the operations of hospitals that focus primarily on the medical treatment of children.
