Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 15th Cambodia International Film Festival at Chaktomuk Conference Hall on the evening of March 24, 2026, H.E. Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, stated that the festival serves as a crucial platform for linking the Cambodian film industry with the global cinematic community.




It has evolved into the largest film event in the country and the ASEAN region, featuring approximately 150 titles from 40 countries. Among these, 60 Cambodian films will be screened over the course of six days across various cinemas in Phnom Penh, offering the public the opportunity to view them free of charge.
