On the afternoon of March 23, 2026, Her Excellency Academician Dr. Phoeurng Sackona, Minister of Culture and Fine Arts, received H.E. Shri P. Kumaran, Secretary (East) of the Ministry of External Affairs of the Republic of India, for a courtesy call and to discuss work regarding the cultural sector at the Ministry.
During this meeting, Her Excellency the Minister expressed her warm welcome to His Excellency’s visit to Cambodia and conveyed her gratitude to the Government of India for its consistent support of Cambodia’s cultural sector on the international stage, particularly the continued support for the conservation of temples in the Angkor region and Preah Vihear Temple.
